This coaching program focuses on YOUR professional development, the most important end of the leash for long term success in this industry.
In this program dog training is only part of the curriculum. I want my coaching clients to see long term success in a number of areas and have the tools and attributes to face challenges whether specific to human or dog, in this industry or in other areas of their lives.
When developing this program, I wanted to focus specifically on the challenges we face and stick to scientifically supported approaches to help my colleagues, the clients and the dogs they work and live with.

IT HAS A "PROFESSIONAL" PROBLEM.
To be successful long term in any industry requires a plan, a path and a guide. In an industry like ours with zero barriers to entry, we are facing an epidemic of colleagues who achieve success without a plan, fight to maintain it, often fail... and don't know why.
This is a coaching curriculum that teaches a diverse range of science-based, effective strategies for addressing a number of areas to achieve that long term success we want.
The goal is to improve wellbeing, gain knowledge and level up using some of the latest insights from fields of psychology, neuroscience, ethology and business as it relates to success in the our industry.
We will use the Professional Development Wheel as a guide and blueprint to find long term success in this industry (and outside of it) through self reflection, maximizing our individual strengths, building resilience, fostering good relationships with both clients, colleagues and those outside of the industry, establishing goals and maintaining the motivation to achieve them as well as truly having a skill set to coach your clients with some of the struggles they face in understanding their dogs.
